What are you waiting for?

For many of us there's an internal expectation that we have to meet certain standards or attain a certain level before we can have our heart's desire. Even with some Theta practitioners I know, there's an expectation that we can't have certain things until we've cleared all the blocks to it. The Universal energy of which we are all a part, is really just one big "yes". The Creator, as we speak of that energy in Theta, doesn't judge where we are or what we are doing -- we do. The Creator desires for us to have everything right now just as we are. Clearing is a lifelong process. And, we can receive now.

Recently I conducted a practice group* where we looked at the internal conditions we set for ourselves and how they limit what can flow to us. Instead of conditions you can read self-judgments or limitations. It looks something like, "When I have cleared ______________, then I can have ____________. " You fill in the blanks. I’ve found that most of us have internal conditions we’ve established for receiving the “good stuff”.

A Theta buddy with whom I've been exploring this says, "What came up for me, though, was "If I clear this___ then ____ will happen and so then I can have _____. It was 3 layered because I had it that if I do a certain thing then another certain thing will happen and so _____. I realized that I've treated people this way too. If I do _____ for them, then they will _____ for me and then ______ (usually I'll get what Ineed) will happen. It's about being willing to have anything happen just as we are and whatever we are willing to do or NOT do with others. I've realized that if I don't do what other people want me to say or do that Iwill still have love in my life. That is a huge one for me.

A Catch-22 that emerged in the practice group went like this, "I can have the love of my life when I am successful. To say I'm truly successful, I must be in a relationship with the love of my life." These are beliefs that really make it impossible to "have the love of your life."

One of mine goes something like "When I clear out all the negative beliefs I have about having a relationship, then I’ll be open to receiving my most compatible soul mate." What if I just open up to receivng my most compatable soul mate and continue clearing my negative beliefs about relationships.

Or, another one, "When I have cleared my lack and poverty beliefs, then I can have my hearts desires." But, what if, the very conditions we’ve set within us are what’s blocking our receiving from the universe. Pretty much all of the beliefs we've just talked about say we have to WAIT. If we say WAIT, the universe is a big YES to that.

By saying, I have to attain a certain level before I can have (again you fill in the blank), we are saying, I’m not good enough to have it now. Clearing something, changing something, making myself better in some way will open the way, but until I change it, I can’t have it.
